Saturday morning, April 6 is the day for all things Easter at Apex Park and Recreation District!
First there’s the Bunny Breakfast, 9 am at the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada CO. The all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast is served from 9-9:30 am. Afterwards, kids can meet the Easter Bunny, play games and take a ride on the Easter Bunny Express. Adults must accompany children, and the fee is $5 for everyone 3 and over. Children two and under are free but still need to register. Register by April 3; no tickets sold at the door. Thanks to the Craft Carousel Gift Shop for their sponsorship of this event.
Whether you attend the Bunny Breakfast or not, bring the children to the free annual Easter Egg Hunt, at the southeast portion of Stenger Sports Complex, 58th Avenue and Oak St., Arvada, CO. It starts at 11 am sharp, and the big scurry lasts only a short time, so we recommend you get there by 10:30 am. Be sure to bring a basket!
