Join us for another round! We’re celebrating craft beer and barbeque in a BIG WAY for its second year in a row! This is a festive outlet for craft beer and barbeque enthusiasts and anyone who wants to have fun! (Children are welcome; however, there are limited activities for them.)
Taste a variety of ales, lagers, pilsners and other unique offerings from local and regional craft breweries. New this year: a VIP Tent featuring special sampling and a chance to chat with the brewers!
BBQ your thing? Get your barbeque fix and talk to the professionals. The Kansas City Barbeque Society competition is back!
Meet your old friends and make new ones. Enjoy eating delicious food, shopping at vendor booths and dancing or listening to lively music from local bands.
Arvada on Tap: A Craft Beer & BBQ Fest is produced by the Arvada Festivals Commission and its community partners Arvada-Jefferson Kiwanis, Arvada Rotary, Arvada Sunrise Rotary, and Arvada Vitality Alliance. All net proceeds will benefit these partners to support their local community projects.
Enjoy Craft Beer – Over 25 commercial craft breweries will offer samples and pours from their breweries. Sample 3 ounce beers for $2 each and buy 12 ounce pours for $6 each. For the best deal, purchase a “Sampler Pack” which includes a tasting beer mug and 10 tokens good for beer or food for only $10.
Special Note – Tokens are available for purchase to buy beer and food (cash will not be accepted for these purchases).
VIP Tent – VIP Tent: A Special Place – Open from 12:30 to 3:30, the VIP Tent is the freshest addition of Arvada on Tap. For only $40, it’s your chance to talk to representatives from our amazing breweries, sample special brews and nosh on delicious appetizers. Enjoy three hours of endless beer sampling in a relaxed, exclusive shady setting fenced off from the larger festival. Tickets sales are closed for prepaid purchases. Please purchase at the event’s entrance.
BBQ: See how it’s done! – Thirty-six BBQ teams from across the country will vie for $10,000 in prizes and bragging rights in a grilling competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
Homebrew: the Hyper-local Brewery! – Budding amateur brewers will have their homebrew submissions judged in a sanctioned Beer Judging Certification (BJCP) competition. Samples not available.
Other fun stuff – Fill your day with live music by local bands; magician Brandon Parker, with his quick wits and sleight of hand; a drawing for an array of really great prizes; great food from over 10 trucks and carts; and shopping at over 40 vendors selling craft foods, jewelry, apparel, brewing and barbequing items and outdoor activities.

Raising Funds for the Community
Arvada On Tap – A Craft Beer and BBQ Fest is produced by the Arvada Festivals Commission (AFC). We’re a group of volunteers appointed by the City Council to organize and produce nine annual celebrations and to help other organizations produce celebrations. Check us out at www.arvadafestivals.com.
For Arvada On Tap, we’re partnering with four service organizations to raise funds for their community projects. Members from Arvada-Jefferson Kiwanis Club, Arvada Rotary, Arvada Sunrise Rotary and Arvada Vitality Alliance partner with the AFC to plan and produce this celebration. These organizations contribute funds and volunteer time to the following community efforts:
