Visit Arvada will promote the best ways to dine, shop, and play in Arvada during the holiday season. Our 2024 Guide to the Holidays in Arvada will feature the complete line-up of our community's signature events, unique to Arvada gift ideas, and great ways to play in the winter weather!

Here is your opportunity to have your business/event recognized during this all-important time of year. If you have any questions, please contact Jean Gordon at jean@visitarvada.org or 720-898-3380.

6 Things You Can Do Right Now!

 1. Submit your Unique-To-Arvada Holiday Gifts

What we need from you to be included:

*Business Name

*Business Website

*Name of product or experience that you would like included in the Gift Guide. Please include a brief description with the cost (one to three sentences max, please).

*Please include one photo of each gift. Consider good lighting, backdrop, and perspective to show off your gift offering.

We can't guarantee that your gift idea will be featured in every aspect of the campaign, but we will do our best to publicize as many as possible through our channels.

*Send to: Jean Gordon,  jean@visitarvada.org, 720-898-3380 (office),  720-988-6804 (cell)

2. Upload Your Holiday event to the Visit Arvada calendar

*Head to THIS LINK and tell us what you have planned! Enter your event details and we will have everything in one spot to easily promote your event!

Not only is the event calendar the most viewed page on our website, but other nearby communities use this calendar, too, so you are amplifying your event.

Once your event is on our calendar, we can share it on our social with a click of a button, or visitors can bookmark it to be sure they remember to attend. We utilize this calendar to further publicize events via our eblasts, social media and public relations efforts as well.

3. Tag Visit Arvada on any of your social posts

We can only share your fun and engaging holiday posts if we know about them. Help us, help you! Simply tag “Visit Arvada.” And please keep an eye on our social media pages, too! Every time you like, comment or share our post, it helps promote it even further. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter: “@VisitArvada”)

4. Make Visit Arvada co-host of your Facebook Events

Facebook events are an excellent way to promote your holiday event to your followers and their friends who use Facebook. Be sure to list "Visit Arvada" as a co-host so we can easily share your events and happenings with our audience to engage them further.

5. Send us your fun and engaging PHOTOS

At Visit Arvada, we strive to create engaging and compelling content for our social media, website, and digital communications. Your photos of special moments in your businesses or events can help us achieve this. By sharing your photos, you not only contribute to our content but also promote your business to our audience. Send photos to jean@visitarvada.org.

6. Looking for WIDER promotion of your holiday event, activity or restaurant/bar special? Consider a custom eblast to our audience!

We invite you to further connect with our loyal Visit Arvada followers! Sign up to have your businesses featured in a dedicated eblast to our 6,000-person database (our open rate is above 40%). You can supply any copy/photos you want included, and we will design it for you! You will have final approval before distribution.

Cost: one for $300 or two for $500

Timing: you can select the distribution date between November 1 – December 31, 2024. But we suggest taking advantage of this well before your event, at least 1-2 weeks, and we will automatically send a reminder to "unopens” to reach as many people as possible.

Deadline: Space is limited, so reserve your spot today! Contact Jean Gordon at jean@visitarvada.org or 720-988-6804.
