The former local franchisee of Marco’s Pizza is building a 12,000-square-foot food hall called Freedom Street Social near the intersection of Indiana Street and West 91st Avenue in Arvada’s Candelas community.

While the installation of the murals was timed to coincide with the Jackalope festival, Olde Town Business Improvement Director Joe Hengstler said that the goal is to keep the murals as part of the Olde Town landscape for the foreseeable future.

The Blazing Bird opened in February of 2020 and took the city of Arvada by storm with its six-tiered spice level and unique adaptations to the original Nashville Hot universe.

We have been visiting downtown Arvada for quite some time. I don’t remember how exactly it came on our radar, but we love to play here, especially now that we have friends who moved to the area. It’s a vibrant downtown with interesting places and shops like Scrumptious, a candy shop Ryan must visit every time we are in town
