Denver is nationally-recognized as an up and coming foodie city, and Arvada is close behind! The food scene in this city is EXPLODING, and we want to help YOU take advantage! Want a more personalized foodie adventure? Please contact us, and we can even customize your food journey for you! Have a favorite hidden treasure, or a favorite food or drink at a specific Arvada locale? We would love to hear about it.
For breakfast: Might we recommend Breadwinners Cafe’s Smoked Salmon Benedict? Yes…it’s just as good as it sounds. Colorado honey smoked salmon, basted eggs and swiss cheese, topped with hollandaise and dill. Benedicts not your thing? Their Huevos Rancheros is incredible too. You won’t go wrong with anything from this menu!
Work off breakfast and make room for lunch! Hit up Asana Yoga in Olde Town for some detoxifying twists, head to the Arvada Center for a quick jog around the sculpture garden, or bring your bike and ride on one of Arvada’s many trails!
For lunch: We have a couple options for those looking to try something unique! Mannekin Frites in Olde Town is a Belgian-style eatery with delicious house-made french fries, hot dogs with a Belgian twist, and a sandwich selection. Right across the street is Homegrown Tap & Dough, a local favorite with wood-fired pizza. We recommend the Funguy…the fresh arugula on the top is a fun touch!
Work off your lunch by heading down to the Apex Center and taking a stab at the indoor climbing wall! If that isn’t your cup of tea, take a swim in one of their indoor pools, or sign up for a step fusion class.
Happy hour: There are TONS of options for every palette! Are you a whiskey lover? School House Kitchen & Libations has one of the largest whiskey selections in the nation! Is your heart set on Bourbon? The Bluegrass Lounge has an excellent selection (and the staff is super knowledgeable!). Silver Vines Winery in Olde Town is a local winery with options to please all. Sucker for cocktails? Visit the Arvada Tavern, Denver’s oldest speakeasy with an incredible selection of old school drinks. Looking to chill with a beer, maybe on a patio? Try Denver Beer Co, the newest addition to Arvada’s brewery scene!
For dinner: We have MORE unique options! Pick up a chicken bucket from Steuben’s Arvada, or order a classic German bratwurst from Kline’s Beer Hall. Both options will satisfy your taste buds and leave you wanting more!
