The summer is here and it is time to have some fun!

Check out the following ways to get out and about (safely, of course!) with our friends at the Apex Park and Recreation District.

Adult Sports

Adult Volleyball
Starts on June 29, with doubles and 4’s Leagues. The cost is $80/team for Doubles and $160/team for 4’s.

Youth Sports

30/30 Youth Soccer Leagues
Summer 30/30 Youth Soccer League is open to boys and girls ages 5-10 (age as of 6/25/2020). Players can play “up” to the next assigned age group to be with friends/family or for developmental reasons. However, in the interest of health and safety, no player is permitted to play “down” in age group or play “up” 2 years or more.
Register as an individual or request to be on a specific coach’s team. League fee includes game shirt. Volunteer coaches are needed! League fees are waived for one child per head coach. Contact TheresaH@ApexPRD.org.
Mini Hitters T-Ball starts 6/30
Come out and have some fun on the diamond! Learn the basics of baseball on a shortened field, with foam bats and balls, and play games against other teams. This league will be 30 minutes of practice followed by a 30 minute game. For ages 4-6. Register as a team or individual. Volunteer coaches needed! Email KayP@apexprd.org for any questions.
Mini Tracksters starts 6/23
In this fun, fast pace program, kids learn basic skills in running, jumping and throwing. This class will meet twice per week at Youth Memorial Complex. Email KayP@apexprd.org for any questions

Camps

Outdoor Soccer Camp
6/29 – 7/3, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
This camp will be run outdoors and is for all abilities and geared toward individual improvement. Our coaches teach the basics and build skill in a supportive and fun environment. Players are grouped by age and ability.
Outdoor Warrior Camp
6/29 – 7/3, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Girls and boys ages 6-13 will have an adventurous, fun, and supportive week learning how to navigate a variety of outdoor obstacle course elements to test both their physical and mental limits. Campers will work daily with coaches on mastering each element, and practice running the full course as well. The week will end with a competition of running the entire course.
