In-N-Out Burger’s Arvada location moving into next stages of planning

Public meeting is to be set for sometime in July

Arvada residents are one step closer to a Double-Double and some Animal Style fries.

The proposed In-N-Out Burger location is moving into the next stages of planning in July, and will be the seventh restaurant to open in Colorado.

The location for the popular California burger joint is expected to sit off of the southeast corner of Wadsworth Boulevard and 52nd Avenue in the Arvada Marketplace Shopping Center.

In-N-Out Burger, represented by Galloway — who provides architectural, engineering and survey services — presented zoning and code modifications requests in the City of Arvada’s Planning Commission’s June 7 meeting to advance the next steps to open the next Colorado branch.

The request included modifications to City codes related to drive-thru lanes, the frontage zone and windows.

Design team experts from In-N-Out Burger went before the planning commission to quell concerns over the possible high traffic volume that may be an impact when the location opens. The previously debut branch locations boasted hour waits and long lines in Colorado.
