Where to Watch Football in Arvada This Fall

Lots of reasons to look forward to fall…PSLs, cooler weather and, best of all – its FOOTBALL season. We’ve got the first couple of awkward weeks out of the way and we’re ready to give our Sundays (and probably Saturdays) to the gridiron and the pig skin. What we’re saying is…let’s talk FOOTBALL!

With the Denver Broncos fresh off of a win and the Buffs on a legit Prime Time high, its time to get excited about football in Colorado again (jinx). The only question now is: Where does the average football-loving Coloradan spend their weekends to catch all the action, enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, and savor delectable food and drinks? The answer is Arvada, of course! Here are some of our top picks for the best football-watching spots in Arvada this fall.

School House Kitchen and Libations | 5660 Olde Wadswoth Boulevard

Game ON at School house with weekend menus from brunch to happy hour that would rival any tailgate. The bar at School House also has tons of great options to get you in the spirit. And plenty of TVs means you won’t miss a college or pro game. And, their private event space can accommodate guests from 10 to 150.

PRO TIP: This is a CU Buffs bar and they don’t save the good stuff just for NFL Sundays. Turn up on game-day Saturdays, too for DJ-provided music and food and drink specials like:

Food Specials: Cheese or Pepperoni Flatbread = $10 (additional toppings $1-$2) | Confit Chicken Wings = $12 | Queso = $10 | Pickle Fries = $8 | Macho Nachos = $13

Drink Specials: Avery Drafts = $1 off | Cu Mule = $7 | Avery Stampede = $5 | Vodka Redbull = $8 | Under the Bleachers = $9 | Buffalo Juice Box = $9 | Ralphie's Reserve 1oz pour = $5 | Ralphie's Reserve Olde Fashioned = $9

(Details and specials listed here were accurate at the time of publication, please visit School House website and/or social media feeds for the most up to date information)

Forget the brats and burgers! How about a dozen different options for grub and a center bar with tons of TVs and drinks to keep and even the thirstiest fans game-day happy. Freedom Street Social also offers private event spaces if you and your squad need a place to watch the big game!

The Grandview Tavern | 7427 Grandview Avenue

Nothing too fancy. But everything so good. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is outstanding, and the bar is stocked with local brews and top-notch cocktails. Now all you need is the local team to win! The Grandview Tavern had been delighting guests through decades of football seasons. Longtime locals (and Bronco lovers) loved the Grandview so much they bought it. We can’t think of a better way to watch the game than with fans like that!

Pro Tip: The Aussie Meat Pies are a must! And don’t miss WEEKEND BRUNCH!

The TRN Grandview | 5601 Yukon Street

The TRN has something for everyone this season! If a football game is just part of your sports-filled weekend, stop by the TRN. Not only can you catch the game on any of their many TVs, but then you can start your own game either in the golf simulator or on the outside putt-putt course. The bar menu is a touchdown and the parade of food trucks are the extra point every hungry football fan craves.

Pro Tip: The outdoor bar and seating the perfect spot to soak up a gorgeous Colorado Sunday!

Homegrown Tap and Dough | 5601 Olde Wadsworth Boulevard

We lost count of how many game-featuring TVs there are, but we’re sure you’ll be able to catch your team here. Coupled with a menu that is packed with game-day musts like pizzas, wings & sandwiches and this could be your new home-team spot. Local brews and craft cocktails are sure to help you keep the post-game celebration going!

Secret Level | 5711 Olde Wads

Secret Level is not only for the funnest and coolest pinball and arcade games, it’s for game day, too. The food and drinks here are made to be enjoyed with games, so it all makes sense. Once you’ve spent all your quarters, stick around for some football and drinks specials like buckets of beer for $20 (includes 5 beers Coors Banquet, Coors Lights, Mich Ultra or Bud Light), Pickle Shots or Mango Chili Bacardi shot specials $5 each for 5 for $20 and Patron Margarita Trees for $36 (includes Luigi's Classic Margarita, Mario's Strawberry, Kirby's Prickly Pear-adise, and Magikoopa's Mango.

PRO TIP: these specials are good for Avalanche and Nuggets games, too, so, you may have found your year-round game day spot!

Olde Town Tavern & Grill | 7355 Ralston Rd

You don’t have to ever miss a game and you don’t have to save yourself for Sundays. Olde Town Tavern and Grill does it right starting on Thursday nights and keeps it going through Saturday College games, Sunday games, a Sunday Night Football Fantasy Fling and Monday Night Showdown. If there is ever any more football to be had, this place will have it. And they’re got the TVs and sports packages to bring you more coverage than you can watch and so many deals on food, beers, Mimosas and more. There is even a whole page on their site dedicated to it!
