The Arvada bakery was founded by Audrey Daniels, Laura Madrid and Vivian Villagrana, three former bakers at The Market in Larimer Square who lost their jobs when the legendary cafe closed for good during the pandemic. Soon after, they banded together to open Lala’s.

The Arvada Resiliency Taskforce will be promoting the best ways to dine, shop and play in Arvada this Holiday Season. Their 2022 Guide to Enjoying the Holidays in Arvada will feature the full line-up of our community’s signature events, unique to Arvada gift buying ideas, and of course, great ways to play in the winter weather (did someone say ice skating rink…?).

We will be promoting all of this information in a paid campaign that will feature billboards, digital displays, sponsored social posts, direct mail, public relations and grassroots efforts.

The foothills that run north to south around the Denver Metro welcome you to our beautiful Rocky Mountains and are a popular area to live and play. The City of Arvada has engaged Denver-based landscape architecture, urban planning and design firm Dig Studio on a Strategic Reinvestment Plan that includes the development of a shared 20-year vision for Olde Town Arvada, as well as a study into the feasibility of permanently maintaining street closures that have created a pedestrian experience on a three-block stretch of downtown.
