Downtown Arvada is about to get a dose of both local and non-local retailers.

Denver-based Snooze an A.M. Eatery and Smashburger have both committed to The Shops at Olde Town Station, in addition to Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse, which first opened a New York-style pizza restaurant in 2007 in Parker.

Mexican food lovers in Arvada have another eatery to try out, as Teocalli Cocina opened in Olde Town Arvada on Feb. 14. The Arvada Teocalli is the restaurant’s second location; the first opened in Lafayette in 2019.

When I moved to Arvada in December 2019, I had no idea I was moving within miles of one of the region’s best Indian and Nepalese restaurants.
